Frieze
Originated in Ireland. Heavy woolen overcoating having a nap on the face. Similar to Chinchilla cloth, but a lower grade fabric. Yam- or piece-dyed. Uses: overcoats, mackinaws. Weave—double cloth with twill construction. Width, 54".
