Fil à fil - end to end

Fil-à-fil comes from the French for "thread-on-thread." Lightweight fabric, usually cotton, with the warp alternately formed by a coloured and a white thread. The optical effect is a vertical microscopic mille rayé or a grid.
Shirts made with the Fil-à-fil fabric are very versatile so that they can be matched with jeans or a formal suit and thus can be worn both for leisure and the office.
It is a suitable fabric for all seasons and its "thread-on-thread" workmanship produces many different colours.
